KIFUMBIRA

ON FEBRUARY 15TH, MANNA MINISTRY MOVED INTO AN AREA CALLED KIFUMBIRA. THE KAMPALA URBAN TEAM WAS ABLE TO PARTICIPATE WITH A VOLUNTEER TEAM FROM MT. ZION BAPTIST CHURCH. THESE PICTURES SHOW THE MINISTRY TENT BEING SET-UP AND THE BAGS OF FOOD THAT WILL BE DISTRIBUTED TO THE PEOPLE WITH THE MOST DIRE NEED. WE WERE WELCOMED BY ALL OF THE LOCAL LEADERSHIP AND WERE ABLE TO OPENLY PREACH THE GOSPEL TO THE RESIDENTS. AT LEAST 26 WERE SAVED ON THIS DAY, AND A HOUSE CHURCH WAS FORMED. I DON'T KNOW FOR SURE WHAT'S COOKING ON THE GRILL, BUT IT LOOKED LIKE GOAT CHITTINS:)

'cmon Christina - take a big bite hot off the grill!! Just kidding! We take so much for granted the wonderful and amazing comforts we have here at home. Our ability to have anything we want at mealtime; our ability to go shopping at the mall whenever we want; our homes; our jobs; seeing the pictures of the way these people have to live everyday is certainly very humbling and makes me so exceedingly grateful for what we have here. We are such a spoiled people in this country. I'm so proud of you guys for the work you are doing and for your willingness to do the work and be obedient servants of our Lord. I pray for you and your family and for the people of Uganda daily. What a tremendous work you are doing! May God smile upon you and your family and may He bless you overly and abundantly! Love you all so much! Melida
